I'm having freat trouble finding an outfit for new year, as everything seems to be soooooooo unflattering.

I am fifteen, rather short *5 foot 5?* and quite small *if you get my drift*. The problem is I have very wide hips and a large bum. What's the best cut of dress for this shape? I always seem to look out of proportion!!!

I think ur best bet would be to get something with a plunging neckline that shows of a bit of chest so and in black so that it draws attention away from your hip/bum area.  A dress like the outfit Kylie wears in "Can't get u outta my head" video would be great x

You sound like me - i am 16 and 5ft 5! my hips are quite large as well and i do have a big bum. you can get different cut dresses to try and hide it but i think the key thing is that you get a dress that you like and that you feel comfortable in. No matter how good it might look to other people if you do not feel comfortable in it don't wear it.

Black dresses are good to wear though to make curves less visable!

You just have to learn to be comfortable with your shape and just wear what you want to wear without wondering what iother people think.
