Chlamydia is not really classified under bacteria but more of a parasite. And in parasitology, a "mechanical" vector means a vector which carries an infective parasite to the host without having the parasite undergoing further development within the vector. Which means the parasite halts it's growth within the vector due to unfavourable conditions and later grow into it's next stages of life with the final host.
So a Mechanical Chlamydia...? well maybe if you're talking about chlamydia being the vector of another parasite? hahaha :p
