joko....just watch "Silent Witness" on BBC 1 TV.....;-)
If you can't find a suitable reference book, do a search on Google with 'safe search' switched 'off', of both 'injured bodies' and 'dead bodies'. Plenty of images there that may help...

www.rotten.com
It's not pleasant.
I actually don't think you would ever be able to find a book like you're describing- even the news is strictly censored regarding images of death. But I also wouldn't recommend the website I just recommended, as it is really horrible. I have no idea how it hasn't been closed down. But, if you need it for, research. Everyone else, don't bother with it.
maybe just try a medical bookshop - or the medical section of a university bookshop (where the local university has a medical school)

thanks all...i have seen rotten before and yes its gross

you can buy books that are quite graphic...i have used them before at work, but theyve usually belonged to someone else...didnt think to take the name to get my own copy.

i will try medical bookshops but i wondered if anyone can name a good one...one i know will be brimming with varied pics

i found it very useful when having to do blood in rigor mortis on earlobes, fingers etc, or 3 day old bruising as opposed to 1 day or 7 day etc
