i would like a book that is basically a picture reference guide for the above...i need it as a reference for doing SFX and prosthetic makeup
can anyone recommend one? i dont want a makeup or prosthetic book, but one with genuine pictures...perhaps a medical book

I actually don't think you would ever be able to find a book like you're describing- even the news is strictly censored regarding images of death. But I also wouldn't recommend the website I just recommended, as it is really horrible. I have no idea how it hasn't been closed down. But, if you need it for, research. Everyone else, don't bother with it.

you can buy books that are quite graphic...i have used them before at work, but theyve usually belonged to someone else...didnt think to take the name to get my own copy.
i will try medical bookshops but i wondered if anyone can name a good one...one i know will be brimming with varied pics
i found it very useful when having to do blood in rigor mortis on earlobes, fingers etc, or 3 day old bruising as opposed to 1 day or 7 day etc
