Munchausen syndrome ......

I understand the term. Has anyone personal experience of someone with this disorder? How are people with this psychiatric illness who have children taken care of ?

I'm not sure if this helps, but I think there are two conditions, Munchausen and Munchausen by Proxy, the latter affects children. It causes people with children to seek medical help (sometimes harming them) as they crave the attention they get through their children. Strangely I do know someone who I have concerns about, whom I think may have this condition.
