Hiya z,
sounds like a touch of arthritis, still, get it checked out ! In the mean time, try Anadin extra as a tempory fix while you get to se the doctor. As long as you don't have stomach ulcers as they are strongish. I have had/ have all your symptoms from time to time except my joint pains are mainly in my shoulders/ back. I put that down to the work I do carrying buckets of water/ buffing. I have reduced the amount of water I carry in the buckets and only buff when neccesary. What I'm saying z is look at your lifestyle and see what changes you can make. Are you overweight? Are you carrying heavy shopping? Footwear, I can't remember if you are female z, are you wearing too high a heel? Look at everything. But definately reccomend Anadin extra for your aches ... BUT!! Read thatlittle leaflet inside before you take! x
zzxxee...the "clicking" of joints is no big deal and is of only limited significance.

The generalised aches and pains may be due to unaccustomed activity..e.g painting, exercise etc and these could well be controlled by anti inflammatory drugs e'g Ibuprofen 400 mgms when necessary.

You haven't said how long this has been going on for, but if it persists for more than a month, then as Eddie says, you need to see your GP.
I am 38 and last year I was having similar problems - I get some joint pain from time to time due to being in an accident years ago, but this was a lot worse. I got a new mattress and hey presto! problem solved :)
Agreed Karen.

A new bed can cure a lot of ills.

Don't get one too firm though - that can make you feel bruised.
As said above, it could be all kinds of things so you need to look at things like lifestyle.

It could also be something like muscles needing strengthening, for example, my physio told me that I had unstable hips due to weak muscles which was contributing to my pain.

Saying that though, I do have general inflammatory arthritis and have recently been diagnosed with bile acid malabsorbtion which has meant I ended up with deficiencies such as Vitamin D which also contributed to the joint pain.

Even though I have medical reasons there are still other factors which don't help such as bad posture, not moving enough etc...
