Walk the walk

I've noticed that when women walk, they swing their arms across the front of their bodies. However, when men walk, their arms swing parallel to their sides. Why is this?

This means they sometimes move their arms to assist them in walking upright. Men have thinnger waists, and no bust, so balance is much easier for them, and the closer movement reflects this. the difference is reflected in their differing ways of running - men take long strides and lean forward, with arms pumping for additional balance. Women (athletes exlcuded) often swing one arm accross their body in a way that men find utterly hilarious. It's simply differing physiology.
