Why does he do that?
24 Answers
This guy at school has always seemed to hate me. I don’t know why he hates me, he’s just always been mean, no matter how nice I try to be. It normall doesn’t bother me when someone decides not to like me, but isn’t it just courteous to inform a person WHY you hate them?
I wouldn’t normally let it get to me, I’m good at ignoring assholes, but this annoys me so much. I only don’t like himbecause he hates me, but I’m stilll nice to him when he’s around. I talk to him if he’s having a problem and he seems to appreciate it, but afterwards it’s just… Hate!
This one time I said to him: “Hi Paul.” Just because I was being forced to sit next to him in Psychology. His reply was just “Die Leanne.”. People tell me that he does it as a joke, or to annoy me, or upset me, or because really he likes me, but honestly, none of that is a reason to be such a hurtful prick! The amount of times he’s called me fat or ugly… The amount of times he’s made me cry because of it and he didn’ care, he just laughed!
He gets on with my friends and I’ve never done anything to him… So what the Foof is his problem? Any suggestions?

He doesn't hate you, but his behaviour is symptomatic of someone who looks up to you very much and wishes you were on his level so that he could feel 'on par' with you. Instead he feels inferior in some way. If he has a problem he comes to you, so he obviously respects you. But he hates himself for having had to come to you in the first place, and to avoid the pain of that he lobs the hate at you. This is unacceptable of course, but it may help you to know it's as simple as that. Just limit the whole thing to responding to his courteous input and showing zeor tolerance for any sign of disrespect. And KEEP AWAY unless he approaches you. You aren't doing him any favours by tolerating his cretinous behaviour, and you must realise you are under NO obligation to be nice to ANYONE. You have every right to be selective.
Sounds like you have wasted far too much time on his already. He doesn't deserve you time so don't waste it on him, keep well away and don't give him the chance to upset you.
Do your friends not pick up on him being so insulting to you? Are they around when it happens as however much they get on with him I can't see proper friends just standing there and letting him insult you and make you cry!
If he only does it when you are alone I think the solution to that is obvious in itself.

Hmm, i have a guy thats an absolute pudding aswell, but not even he tells me to die, more like sarcastic comments and jokes that him and his friends chuckle about. But he stopped when i slapped him and made his nose bleed ( the teacher was impressed with my slap and told him that it served him right!!!!!!!!!!)

The person had been harassing me for months, and i'd even been to my head of house about him, and in that particular lesson, the teacher is useless and can't control the class, so the person was worse and they can't stop the boy, who sits behind me, from saying anything to me. Anyway, it got to a point where i felt threatened and bullied so i got fed up and slapped him one.
At the time (year nine) i was a pewny 5 ft 1 and he was 6 ft and the teacher was just glad that nothing serious happened, and that he's now stopped the harassment.
