I am a non believer in this stuff, my fella on the other hand is. So he watches this stuff at home. I must admit I had to laugh at the episode of Most Haunted when Derek started shouting Mary loves d*** Mary loves d*** - funny stuff. I personally think he is a charlatan.

In reference to how long he has been on tv, as long as people watch it they will show it. People like trashy tv. Just cos hes been on tv a long time does not make him genuine. The only advice I can offer is if you like him go see him. I wonder how much a ticket is?

didnt mind colin fry but derek is crap. And hes really sweaty, made me gip when he stood near me.

Tickets are around £20 depending on venue. Not expensive, in my opinion. If anything I would go just to give in to my curiosity and at worst it would be a couple of hours of entertainment that I would pay for.

people just want to believe, to its very hard for them to 'see' through the bullocks...my own boyfriend has said to me that my scepticism is not a very attractive trait... errr...

I have been to see him twice, the first time i went i took a friend who had been the night before and she said alot of the stuff he was saying to people he had said the night before too, i still enjoyed it enough to go again though

Most Haunted only got rid of Derek Acorah because he was getting more bigger than the show. How about when Kiren O'keefe exposed most haunted in one of the national newspapers as all a set up?? and he still works alongside them, can't make that one out. Have been to one of Derek's shows and it was well worth the ticket money.

Lets put it this way then. The latest film comes out, the press etc, give it a great write up, you go and see it and its a pile of S***. So in this case you either pay your money or not and make your own mind up.
