Has HairDye colour been discontinued ...
8 Answers
I was using SCHWARZKOPF VITAL permanent hair dye .. (colour DEEP PURPLE code 88), but cannot find it anywhere... I checked the Schwarzkopf website and it shows that only two stores in the UK stock this particular brand line, Wilkinsons and Savers. I have phoned around to these stores local to me and even went outside of my area slightly but no-one knows of this colour. I am getting pretty desparate now and I need my hair re-coloured and can't find this colour or an alternative that I'm happy with. I have emailed Schwarzkopf couple days ago (head office in Germany, they don't have office in Uk apparantly) waiting their reply still. Please can anyone out there recommend a solution or where else to try, have you seen this brand/colour in any other stores? Thank you. ML

If you have a hairdressing supplies shop Rusk do a beautiful deep red violet and you buy the colour and the bottle of peroxide developer separately, I'm using it at the moment and it leaves my hair in really good condition. I used it with 40vol perox (using it up after a recent blonde spell) but it your hair takes colour easily a lower strength would be ok start low and work up it doesn't come with all gloves and conditioners though as it is a professional product so might be better to stick with the retail brands if you are not super experienced
Wilkinson do another couple of purples the 'jerome ' one and the live unlimited which is a pretty good black tulip shade on med to dk brown hair
