I asked about this in a clinic near me that offers that service.  They said they had to tell me that it also removes good bacteria, so although it may be doing some good, it could also be doing bad to your body

Yeah...I can't help but think it must be harming the delicate tissues in the bowel. If God/nature had intended for us to pump water into our bots...then I think we'd have been born with a hosepipe already up there!

it depends what your objective for seeking this therapy. I have been going to the London Colon Sanctuary in Harley Street who are the absolute experts in this matter. Give them a call and they will be able to help you with whatever question you might have. Staff is superfriendly and knowledgeable plus they have got the latest system which is completely private - I insert the rectal tube myself meaning my dignity is preserved - plus the rectal tube is really thin like a pencil so there is no discomfort at all. Really different from anything else out there. Cheers!
