Personally I wouldn't have thought so. I had one at six months on one of my ovaries and they had to do keyhole surgery through the belly button I think... Or at least I believe that's what mum told me, I don't really remember. All GA procedures come with some risk though obviously which can go up or down depending on other conditions you may or may not have.

However I wouldn't say a hernia is particularly worrying... but then I'm a PA so what would I know?! :c)
