Do any of you ladies use these expensive high end rejuvenating creams? How do these compare to the cheap superdrug and pound shop creams? Do you get what you pay for in the facecream world or is this just a big ripoff?

i just use ponds dry skin cream as my mother did before me, i am very happy with this myself and would not change it for the more expensive creams, they all moisturise so what more can they do, they cannot undo any damage already done, so i myself will not be wasting my money.
Ponds, Nivea, Boots Age Delay == all as good as the more expensive makes, unless you like paying for a 'designer' label.
I'm a great believer that you get what you pay for.

I've been a Lancome lovey since I was about 19 and their Primordiale and Renergie ranges are hard to beat. At present I'm using Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream and Serum and Clinique Anti-Oxident day cream. I'm happy with that. I've used supermarket creams in the past, but always revert to the nice stuff.
There was a comparison in the paper the other day, Lidl's stuff came out on top, much much cheaper, and the people who sampled them gave them 10-10 and said they would swap.
It's worth noting that L'Oreal own Lancome and Rubenstein, but you are better off paying the extra for Lancome than L'Oreal, IMO.
I tried the Lidl face stuff and looked like a teenager again..

bloody covered in spots!
I would say aldi's is the new lancome...
I always use l'Oreal it suits my skin. Nivea a Olay gives me spots.
I've heard people say that the expensive stuff is no better... but that's just crap in my opinion. I've tried every mascara on the market, and there's nothing better than Lancome's.

Same goes for their face creams.
Its aldi boxtops not lidl...
