I got a tattoo on the inside of my right ankle yesterday and went to work (i'm a waitress) and ever since igot home it has been so sore i can barely walk on it. Is this normal??? I have put A&D ointment on it a couple times today and was also wondering if it could possibly be an allergic reaction to it. I am sure I'm just over re-acting but it could never hurt to hear other people's opinions.

Tattoos on your foot do hurt more... Every tattoo ive had always hurt more a good 6 hours on as the swelling is coming up etc

Losely wash it with antibac soap.. dab dry and then add a layer of Bepanthen nappy cream on to it.. If you do that 3 times a day it will keep it clean etc
One of the most painful places to have a tattoo.Theres nothing to seperate the skin from the bone so it wil be painful.Give your tattoist a phone just to se if theres anything they can suggest for pain relief.Feel for you -I got a small one on my spine -just 3 falling stars and I swear I almost lept out the seat with the pain and ive had 2 kids so i know about pain !!

The tattooist my friend knows uses heamorroid cream, Preparation H.
There was an article on the radio about tattoos today. There are a lot of charlatans out there so I would get it checked out by a medic if it continues to be a problem
