Wedding weight loss?
3 Answers
I'm getting married at the end of the year and can't decide what to do about my weight... Sounds daft, but I'm not overweight as such (I'm a 12-14), but at the same time, I don't want to cringe looking at the photos....Did anyone not make much effort to shape up and then regret it? People tell me to just be myself and all that, which doesn't really help much. Thanks!

Every woman knows that it is how gorgeous you FEEL that matters, regardless how your weight and shape apears to other people. I suggest you go on a health kick a couple of months before the wedding. Carol Vorderman does a really great detox. It's not really a diet, but you will feel better and you will lose a few pounds. Or you could start doing more exercise now- call it a late resolution- just swimming or walking regularly will help. If none of that appeals, you could just cut out all snacking, stick to 3 meals a day, eat no rubbish, and don't eat after 6pm for a couple of months. My friend lived on salad before her wedding and looked amazing on the day- she has never managed to get back to that size, mind!!
I was 4st heavier than my (now) normal weight when I got married 4 years ago and to be honest I don' t really regret not losing it first. I don't think it would have made much difference, plus you need to get your dress ordered at least 6 months ahead so you only have a few months to lose it in or your dress won't fit once it arrives! Do it if it makes you feel better though but it doesn't sound like you are overweight.
