Just fell over...

Tripped on the carpet. Tried to stop myself and caught my finger on the bannister...or more like the spindles.

I can move it when my hands are facing forward....but if I turn them to the side (like a politician) it just drops down. It hurt when I done it but now it's gone numb...

It's a little bit swollen but nothing like when I've broken bones before....so I presume it's not broken.

When I move it it hurts up my arm...

it's sprained probably, have you a triangular bandage in your first aid kit? You're lucky you didn't do any serious damage........joiners are expensive : ))

when one limb is damaged there's pressure on opposing limb.....mind you dont fall again & damage other arm.

I've broken every finger on my left hand...and the hand itself...lol...clumsy kid..

Never hurt my right hand before..

It's quite amusing...put it straight and it looks fine..turn it on it's side and it goes a funny angle (?)

It's dislocated.....just moved it at a stupid angle.

Will it heal itself?

My dear Carakeel, had a similar problem when she dislocated her finger, trouble is she also broke the tendon, her finger is now at a strange angle, they operated and re-attached the tendon but if failed and cannot now use that finger and it just gets in the way, she is now waiting for another operation.

I did this to my little toe, that was at right angles, went to hosp has x-ray and i had broken it, so i wouldnt leave it incase it is, not that they do much, just strap two fingers together and give pain killers. Best of luck tho xx
