I'm a 36G and have a similar problem findin pretty bras.
M&S is usually my first stop, especially in the sales. Bravissimo is lovely but a bit on the pricey side for me.
I agree about Asda though I got a couple and they wen't as generous as the size suggested but you shold be ok for a D cup as you can try sizes each side to get the best fit.
Debenhams too.
I go and get fitted a lot as there is so much difference with sizes and always try and go for the best fit rather than just grabbing ones which are a certain size.
I have also found some lovely ones I wouldn't have picked off the shelves myself by getting the fitting ladies to find me a selection.

Hi, I have found a make at last that are pretty and good support. Bras made by Fantasia. Have bought one from Debenham's , The lady was great and knew just by looking at the bra I had one it was the wrong size.Bought me a Fantasia bra and it fitted perfectly,! And that is a FF cup. Then I went on Ebay and bought two more, a lot cheaper.
