curing an obsession

There's hardly any more around the house for me to possibly do so how can people say that I have barely any chores to do?

Molly, don't beat yourself up.....just do your bit at home, leave dad to pc & get out on your bike to join in teenage fun - you're only sweet 16 once.

There's loads more chores than that.

Skirting boards...inside, outside, on top of kitchen cupboards. Changing beds, cleaning door handles/light switches. Cleaning the oven...bathroom/toilets.

I could go on if I could be bothered...

My ex wanted a boat, so he joined the sailing club at the Uni he teaches at. That cured him,as he decided they were all snobs. Maybe that's what your dad should do.....he sounds the type not to like snobs or 'posh' folk.

We only clean the house properly when people are coming and we all help, and it takes about a week.

good thinking pasta, marinas have lots of boat-owners who live abroad and want their boats 'exercised', send dad to enlist at a marina

he's still working, another reason why it's pointless, as he won't have any time to sail it.

And the only ironing we do, except stuff like when we are going out somewhere really posh is my cadet uniform, which i know do with a pair of straighteners.

I'm not allwoed to use the proper iron as its slightly broke, and my uniform needs ironing.

And thats all that gets ironed in the house, excpet, like I said, stuff that we are going to where to a posh dinner of wedding etc.
