px scab fallen in ear!

my little boy had a big chicken pox scab right on the inner edge to his ear. He's just felt it fall in and is panicking a bit. what will happen to it? Will it just break up?
I know it will feel bigger than it actually is, but it was a whopper!

It can't go anywhere else, the ear is a sealed channel, it will work its way out in due course.

chances are, crisgirl, that when the little lad go's to sleep tonight and lays his ear down to the pillow, it'll probably fall out if it hasn't done already
