Any one suggest a better cream than clotrimazole??

I found tolnaftate solution (Tinaderm spray) worked really well but I still needed to use clotrimazole on some small areas which were apparently resistant to the tolnaftate.

I think you should just go to your GP and show her/him the problem and they will be able to advise/prescribe.
I wouldn't mess around with swabs myself, they'll want to see it and may or may not take an appropriate swab with the appropriate equipment.
