if you could say there is one (or 20..?. ) "commandments that have helped you get along in life...what would they be?
I dont mean cliches etc, but genuinely what has worked for you?
people say stuff like, always look people in the eyes, say their name a lot, mirror their body language etc...but what else?
I used to know a guy who used to always grab and waggle peoples elbows in a jovial manner, i asked him and he said he did it on purpose to get people to like him...
seemed to work bizarrely...
thanks

(Am getting well fed up of people making rubbish cups of tea recently, I always make sure I make tea how other people like it and not just several cups of tea I would happily drink!)

Totally agree with the cup of tea thing. I make my friend H cups of strong tea cos that's how she likes it. I like weak tea, but she always makes ME strong tea cos that's how SHE likes it. I suppose it's like the idea "treat others how they'd like to be treated, not treat others how you like to be treated".
