I have been asked to provide a stool sample and have been given a little pot with a plastic scraper type thing. How do I go about providing the stool sample correctly?! I hope someone can help, this is quite mortifying for me!

I have been in your situtation when I have had bad food poisoning and have been able to s**t through the eye of a needle. However, my doctor told me to put cling film under the loo seat but over the ceramic and "gather the evidence" from there

Is this the screen for bowel cancer which the government send to people of a certain age. You should get instructions with the kit. Catch some poo on toilet paper and scrape some into the pot. Its worth it to find out that you are OK (hopefully)

this is to test for h.pylori and there are no instructions.

The bowel cancer test is different, there you have to leave a smear on a little window. You need about a teaspoonful if you can manage it, not more, you don't have to fill the pot.

yeah it does cause ulcers, along with a number of different symptoms which match mine. i'm praying it is that and nothing else as this can be treated.

Half full lol? That little scraper, just what you can collect with one little scoop with that is plenty. I've seen people pack the bottle full.....loverly.
