Recently been put on Citalopram 20mg once a day & Pronalol 10mg 2 x 3 tabs per day.

Ah - I'm always careful to keep the leaflets these days, and the original packaging - when we travel abroad I always take meds in their original boxes in case of query as to why they are in my handbag. Lesson learned before from taking vitamins and meds in a dose-per-day box, customs queried what they were.
agree with squad's guidance. most meds will say not to drink, but only usually to cover their @rse in case someone sues. essentially, alcohol may enhance some of the effects of your pills (esp. the propranolol) so the best way to test is to have the odd one/two and see how you feel - and be responsible enough to say when! x
