Tramadol and Co codomol
7 Answers
My friend has hurt her back and went to see the GP who put her on Tramadol 50 mg.She is also taking co codamol 30/500 and still feels in pain. She takes the co codamol for a long standing medical condition.I was just amazed that the GP gave her both at the same time,I thought because they are both opiate based it wouldn't be a good idea.Anyone got any thoughts?

If she has seen different doctors they may not have checked or the dosage she is on would be safe to take. Ask her to ring the doctors and ask for a telephone consultation with her doctor same day and just ask him over the phone. If she is still feeling pain she may need to up the dose but tramadol can become addictive and also if you work the side effects could cause problems.
