If you are diagnosed as being diabetic either your hospital or GP will have a diabetic nurse and your case will be assigned to him/her. They will give you all the info you need. Things have changed so much since Mr M was diagnosed, they now say you can eat anything in moderation, which he does. One piece of advice I can give you is to subscribe to the Diabetic magazine at diabetic.co.uk. It's full of useful info and tips. Don't worry too much about it you'll be fine xx
