No problem.

i was told to alternate with my penacillin, to take a couple of ibuprofen with it, then a few hours later to take it with 2 paracetomol.

the ibuprofen jiggered up me ibs and crippled me innards. but it was the docs advice what i took, so i stopped doing that and stuck with just the paracetomol.
pinki......it could be arranged.....no problem ;-)

Ok thanks. Was prescribed a week's course of 500mg Amoxicillin this morning for chest, ear and throat infection but until they kick in I want to dose up on Lemsip to take the edge of the symptoms...

Might raid the medicine cupboard! Nobody seems to rate Lemsip for anything more than a sniffle, and yet it probably sells by the bucket load at this time of year?
Cheers All!

Hey its worth a go... anything to shift this!
Thanks Pinki
Instead of asking the well meaning amateur medics that plague this website why didn't you ask the doctor when you were given the prescription or the pharmacist? that is what they are there for. Failing that read the information that comes with the medication?
Sorry to upset anyone one but I did not get the impression that a lot of medically qualified people were contributing to this thread.
