Hiya, just opinions on the names I have chosen for my new baby.,. Not sure of the sex but I do have a boys name in mind if it is another boy.. I have two children Isaac (6) and Ruby (4), I want something that 'goes with' my other children's names. I am struggling for a girls name at the moment and have only come up with two which are Amber or Grace, (no middle name), I cant decide, I like pretty names for girls I think they are both pretty but wanted to see what others think.... cheers x

i like both of them. Personally i prefer two-syllable names
I'm a bit biased as my daughter is Grace (or Gray as she's more commonly known). I once knew a lady who had three girls, Ruby, Amber and Jade - they were known as 'the traffic light kids'.. shame!!
I love Grace and I like Freya too
You will never go wrong with a Biblical name. In fact until fairly recently, it was unlawful in France to name an infant other than after a saint or a national hero.
It is also tradition for saints names in Catholic families...Lots of Thomas', Davids, Marys, rebeccas etc etc in mine....AND I am a scot Mikey !!!!!! LOL

My maiden name is Gray... I also like Freya too thats pretty..,,. Yes I love biblical names for boys but I honestly cant think of many nice ones for girls x
Noami
Lucy
Jessica
Hannah
We chose Sawyer for our youngest daughter and I have since heard two other gilrs called that.....and she is a real Sawyer in character.........
I had loads of problems choosing my son's name. I wanted Elijah, Noah or Jonah but there was always some objections either from family members or work friends. Then I settled for Lukas with a K and everyone was happy apart from my dad. He wants to call him Liam which is his middle name.

As for girls I wanted Elia or Elle. Leah is also a nice name.
I've got a Freya - she has the most unusual name of all of our children and she is the most trouble too! But she is brill!
Rebecca, as in my grand-daughter
sherr, I adore that name
I like Levi for a boy.....
I like Jasmine, not only because it is a flower but because it smells so nice. And Patrick is nice for a boy. Give your baby a second name in case it doesn't like the first one and can then use the second one. Children don't always like the name their parents have given them.
Hi Bobbi - we were beginning to run out of names that we liked! We are both ex teachers so we already disliked lots of names (associated with mean kids) and they all have a middle name too, so that's ten we had to come up with. My husband came up with this name so he should take the credit.
It can also depend on what the surname/family name is - you need to make sure that the name flows and isn't awkward. I have seen some children whose first names and second names are very complicated for the child - strange spellings of ordinary names for instance - the simpler the name, the easier for the child to learn to write and spell. I also wonder what some of the children with fancy names will feel about them when they are much older! I like your suggestions, I have a friend named Grace and another is Emily.
very astute I would say..lol
it is funny when you think of names just how you associate them and with who, isn't it?
How about Pippa? that goes well with your other kids' names :)
Well I certainly don't like my name Starbuck but my parents never gave me a middle.

:o(
You also have to make sure that their initials don't spell anything that can be changed into an insult.
