my phone died last night - kaput, dead, deceased. I would never ever have thought it but it's like losing an arm - I'm actually stressed. My wife is collecting a replacement for me today but I'm like a junkie waiting for a fix. Is that normal? I would NEVER have thought I would feel this way!

Looks like it is normal in this day and age.
Oi you phone junkie, Wickerman;-)

The only phone I own is a land-line one, and the telephone is about eighty years old!

MrsWicker wll be home at 6... itchy fingers to get my messages! I'm more than surprised at myself here - I would've denied being a phone junkie right up to last night!
Usually, it's younger people who are affected like this - how old are you? Fifteen?!

lol - no, a little older than that! I know - that's why I'm suprised at myself. Also I use it for work etc but the honest thing is that there are ructions going on politically here in Ireland and I'm really missing the constant texts and updates!
I felt like that when my internet died.
