I am starting to get lines under my eyes. I'm only 27!!

Do any of the creams on the market actually work? I think I better get started now.

You know you're old when you reach down to get the wrinkles out of your panty hose and realize you aren't wearing any
27 - mmmm, better get started milly.
At your age, any old cream is as good as another - no need for fancy priced ones.
try something with retinol roc are quite good and suited me when i was younger
I agree with rowan.........retinol is the only constituent in face creams that has been subjected to properly conducted scientific trials and has been found to be effective.
Just keep your skin moisturised. Anti-wrinkle creams sold over the counter do very little. Lidls creams are about the best I have ever used and they are about 2.00 a pot.

For a cream to be really good in helping to reduce wrinkles, the amount of retinol has to be quite high. These creams can only be got on prescription and are controlled. Cosmetic manufacturers are simply not allowed to produce such creams.
Oooh, hello Sqad!

hhmm, just had a look on Boots and they get pretty pricey don't they.

Wonder if they will do me an offer on hair dye if I buy the eye cream as I seem to be finding a lot of grey hairs at the moment too.
Hi! lofty.
I found some of the retinal products quite harsh. But I am delicate :-)
Simply not worth the price Milly. Anyway a few lines give character to a face!!
which lidl cream lottie?
Hi Woofy.

I use Iseree day and night creams - excellent.

Also have cien (again Lidls) anti ageing cream which is also good, but hasn't made me look any younger!!

Seeing as I have very sensitive skin and react to loads of creams (especially Olay!!) I have been really pleased since finding some that suit.
Oh and the day cream does have a SP15 factor - the linked article says it doesn't!
OH swears by the own-brand at both Aldi and Lidl - made in Germany.
Origins do fantastic moisturisers, but quite pricey.
Lots of German stuff is good in my opinion. I buy quite a lot from Lidls these days, including such really good household stuff. I don't have access to an Aldi. People who turn their noses up at Aldi and Lidls really amaze me. They are not cheap and shoddy at all. Their chocolate is amazing, especially the Plantation range.

I believe Aldi and Lidls are very similar Doc. Both German. Our Lidls has great veg and great cheeses and lots of nice foreign food as well which you can't buy elsewhere.
The latest Which? report on supermarkets places Aldi and Lidl just behind Waitrose and M&S - way ahead of Sains, Morrisons, Asda , Tesco and Co-op, (in that order)
Do you think that men age quicker than women? I am similar age to milly and started seeing lines under my eyes a couple of years ago. But then, guys dont tend to moisturise religiously as most women do I suppose.
