So we went out in 7th grade and after a week we broke up. We have always been good friends since then. Now when we walk down the halls together he playfully pushes me or he playfully kicks me, it doesn't hurt he just kinda taps me. And on the bus he kinda jokes around with me a bit. My friend thinks he still likes me. I know the only way to really know is to ask him, but it's early in the morning and he probably won't answer so can you guys maybe give me an idea if he still likes me? Btw we are in 9th grade now.

Should a ankle still hurt 9 days after injury?

I think he might - he's not ignoring you. I guess you are in the US from the words you use, we are a UK site - the dating scene for teens might be different here though.

What do you do when he taps you or jokes with you? Maybe smile say hello and get chatting. He might need a few hints that you like him. Arrange a group of you to go out and invite him along.

more to the point kalx do you like him? It is very flattering to get attention from a member of the opposite sex but if you don't like him don't encourage him. Then you will have more time to spend with someone you do like.
