Why does someone feel despairing

Hustle bustle life goes on
Your feelings they result to none.
Then pain consuming and bone burning
Are sensations once returning?
A wanting just to sleep and sleep
No morning wake ever to keep.
But you may find a calling true

Through weather dark and skies of blue.
A tiny germ of life rekindles
desperation starts to dwindle.
For as the night is dark and frightful
one day wakening is once more delightful.

I've always been in awe of people that can put their feelings into words like that, I suffer from clinical depression and one of my crisis team always says to me ''write it down or draw it out'' I just walk the dogs.....lol

In the grey place at the moment....nice thought Mamya....but for me when it lifts I know it won't be long before it wraps me up and swallows me again......How do others cope?

Visit the sea - nothing changes more frequently Rowan. Ebb and flow, high and low tides, rough and calm sea, variations in colour, but continuous movement. It brings a balance to life, imo.

Actually ttfn I agree the sea helps especially when its really wild..... bit difficult to hit a beach when you live in Birmingham....I could really do with a beach right now
