The tablets were fluoxetine, and he daren't go back in case the doc says it's the same with all the tablets he needs. He's come off them and life is really hard.Does anyone have any experience in the HGV side of it pls ??

After all - what has he got to lose?
Either his doctor says yes, it;s the same for all medication, and he can't drive, or no, there is something he can have that is acceptable to the DVLA.
The point is, he will know, and not knowing is not going to help his condition.
Also, check with the DVLA if they are denying his licence for any anti-depressant medication, or if it depends on the dose and type - again, nothing to lose.
Hope this helps.
