I have high blood pressure and am managing quite well except when I want to eat a poached or boiled egg - there is no substitute for salt - I have tried LoSalt but need to put loads on for any taste which defeats the object surely.  Herbs and pepper are not the same - any suggestions?

You are allowed a little salt, so if you only have the occasional boiled egg, put a little salt on it!

But it is amazing how you get used to things over time, I once went on a medical diet which included eating natural yogurt every day, with no addition apart from maybe a little honey. I started eating it with a "medicine is not necessarily supposed to taste good" attitude but after three weeks found I was really looking forward to it.

So you may well start to really enjoy herby eggs.

Good luck.

I find balsamic vinegar adds that missing kick.
