Tinks....also talk to the student welfare people at uni.....let them know you are suffering from stress....so if things go wrong at assessment time they will look more favourably on an extension request
another thing you might like to try is herbal tea something with valerian, passiflora and hops works well make it strong (2 teabags) have it about an hour before bedtime and then you can have your hot milk and vanilla before you go up... also try foods high in tryptophan during the evening turkey, and greek yoghurt are both good but thereare lots of others.
And put all your work related things away before you get ready for bed, don't leave them out... by putting them away you are giving yourself the signal that you are finished and no longer need to worry about it... no computer for at least an hour before bed either as it takes a while for you to switch off from the visual stimulation.
you will be fine....its the downhill run now .....

There is almost always a student support/counselling service at a uni and they usually employ 1st class professionals to staff it, perhaps give it a go first. It really sounds like you could do with someone to talk to just to share your feelings. Perhaps you are feeling under pressure and a little isolated (we can feel isolated and have many friends), but you are not alone. in the long term tai chi and chi gung are excellant practices. Can you post an update?

Hi all, woke up this morning feeling soo awful, took day off uni and went to c my gp.
Told him i hadna really sore head at the back left, sneezy and wheezy. He took a look in my throat and said jeeze oh! You have a glorious infection, tonsils again! And he said its been there for weeks so no wonder i cant sleep. Also advised something herbal for the not sleeping.
