Distancing from friends
5 Answers
I've been feeling that me and my friends are becomng quite distant. I've posted about this 'new' girl in our group.. call her B, and my best friend called A. So when B sort of joined in she does bring a good element to the group.. but she is quite loud and I've always felt like she doesn't like me. She became really chummy with A and now I don't feel like I could confide in A anymore when we used to have long chats about things. The other girl, C is a genuine nice girl she doesn't do anything wrong.. she's nice. Anyway I just feel like I'm not close to any of them anymore... I don't find the same things funny or interesting that they do, B is just annoying me by thinking she's the main focus and I know A is trying to still talk to me but she just gets annoyed because I don't give anything back but the reason I don't give anything back because they just don't interest me anymore ot be perfectly honest. Anyway just had to write this down and see what you all say going to stop now or I'll go on a rant... hhaha

As sara says you can still be friends but your relationship with them will change.
I am sure that in the long run it will all work out - but I remember being a teenager and I didn't enjoy the experience very much.

Have you done a similar post before? Or even an exact one?
Anyhoo...
If i remember correctly Sophie, you're quite young aren't you? A young teen? Sadly, you'll learn that friends that seem all important for any number of years at your age suddenly lose their charm. I'm wiling to bet by the time you're in your mid 20's you'll be hard pressed to even remember their names. Don't let it bother you so much, just ride it out- so to speak.

It happens most of the time that someone come from outside and break a good relationship between the two. So don't worry and be yourself..when everything will be clear, A will come to yo and realize his mistake. B would be thrown out as people who jealous with their own friends can make no good friend ever.
