Yes perhaps for the best.
Oh dear, djt - keep looking!
Btw 50 is not old at all.
At 50, you`re not old. You`re just too old for the girl. The same taste in music doesn`t necessarily make you potential life partners.
I suppose you could point out most of todays music are simple re-hashes of music from the 70s/80s.

50's not remotely old. 50 was good, I was on my own again when I was 50, I loved it. Get out there!
haha, i love TT, saw him on TV for the 1st time the other day - really funny man.
I had a friend who died very unexpectedly and suddenly at the age of 30. So suddenly, that he stood me up for a lunch date. So I don't think I would agree that it is horrible being 50.
50 isn't old, but think if it was a 50 year old woman trying to date a 22 year old bloke, most would think it odd.

Why, I married my toyboy! and when I am rocking round the clock, he hasn't a clue!
I think it was for the best in the long run.
thats sad Rodge... Carol McGiffin on Loose women is 51, and her boyfriend is 29, so works sometines..
Yet again I'm going to sugggest that age really doesn't matter- there might be other reasons that you and young lady aren't together, I've never found that age matters at all.
My wife is 61 next week and I am 37 - we have been married for 8 years in October and together for 14 years (so she was 47 and I was 23). Yes it can (and does) work.

Thanks for all your feedback, think i'll ask her again, if her reply is no way then at least i gave it a go!
:-D
Best of luck.
hmmm, normally when a woman says no, she means it, I know that sounds harsh but women know what they want and if she has already turned you down then its likely that she will do it again. keep your dignity and move on.
Can you afford to take her out?
