A friend of mine's son is having serious problems understanding women and getting them to go out with him. Neither she nor I feel able or qualified to guide him. Are there any appropriate books you'd recommend that she can give him?

The Game by Neil Strauss is meant to be very good; although the author apparently found that the techniques were off-putting to women he fell in love with but if the bloke in question just wants women to go out with him it might be a good start.

Tell the lad don't ever try to understand a woman, just learn to love one!
It also helps to regard them as friends not as potential partners just relax and get to know them as friends and wait and see what happens.

Tell your friends son to join in the forum chat of free dating sites. Yes, there are free ones and these are the best. okcupid and plentyoffish are good starts. Have a decent profile and plenty of information about yourself (without boasting too much!). It has been mentioned that (some) women are impressed by financial status.
