If I Tidy My Bedroom, Will I Then Remain Single For A Very Long Time?

Genuine question this, working on the theory that if you go out with an umbrella it never rains.

Shall I tidy my room in the hope that if I do get a girl I can take her back to my room a we can watch tv and listen to music. Although I may never get a girl because of said room being tidy.

Or

Option 2 - I leave the room being messy, in the vain hope that if I get a girl I can always make up and excuse and go to hers.

First sign of adulthood in a bloke! I had the luxury of a second bedroom which was immaculate because I never slept in it, but I see the problem. You can always, ahem, "listen to music" on a settee. It depends what your position is when..er..listening. Seriously, you ought to keep the room tidy and the sheets a whiter shade than brown, but beyond that the woman won't either care or notice. If she remarks on it later, she has serious designs on you and is thinking of the future. That may not be to your taste.

What ensures you remain single for a very long time is having the sort of mind that thinks one ought not to tidy a bedroom as it'll change the future of whether one meets someone, or not. The ladies can detect this at 100 yards.

I am an adult and I will share with you that I tidied my room on Friday and had a girl stay who went home today.... Thing is, she was my daughter and she is 5 years old, but even she had commented before on my messy room.

I'm gonna try hard to get areas tidied and see what happens.
