I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months, but we'd been close friends for a long time before we got together. I realised that I do love him, but have never told him so, and he has not told me he loves me yet either. I don't know whether I should just come out and say it, or leave it a bit longer, or wait for him to say it first. Is it too soon?

Try saying "I love the way you....." Whatever is appropriate. eg crinkle your eyes when you laugh, make me smile when I am unhappy.
Might break thie ice towards either of you saying I love you.
