for all those who have lost someone, and Christmas is the time you miss them the most, its just beautiful.. scroll slowly for all the stories to come to life...
Strangely enough, just a couple of days ago clearing cupboards out, I came across a disposable camera that I never developed. So, I took it to be developed, my mum and late father are on them. Nice memories to look back on.

i wonder how many memories people hold of their loved ones..
i have my o/h picture on the mantelpiece and he is wearing his old outdoor clothes as we were in the Lake District. happy memories.
I'm sure we all have items that make us pause and think, I do.
When my Dad died I collected his belongings from the hospital - I have kept the contents of his trouser pocket, small change including his 'lucky' half crown (even though we had gone decimal) a keyring and a clean folded hankie. I also have his Post Office Cap badge.
every year since I married mum made us a cake and pud for Christmas even changing the recipe when we were diagnosed diabetic ,I know I could make them or buy them now (mum died in February)but they won't be mums . I miss her so much x
have dad's pocket watch and road atlas (embossed with his initials)
Have a lot of things from late brother.
Nothing from Mother.
Miss Dad and Brother immensely.
I have things that belonged to my parents and a couple of pictures somewhere but rarely look at them and don't spend time regretting their deaths. It is the certain end to any life. I don't like xmas and am delighted when it is all over. Oh dear ..... I will refrain from growling 'Bah humbug' out loud!!
