When Is An Age Gap Too Big Both Partys Are Of Legal Age

I (f31) have been seeing someone for a little wile now I always knew he was younger I thought early 20s and everything is amazing between us the sex is out of this world no problems what so ever until this past weekend when I found out he is actually 17 (legal age) I don't know what to do I really really like him I'm just worried he's too young for me I don't usually care what people think but right now I just don't know.... please someone give me some advice ...

The gap between 17 and 31 is far bigger than the gap between, say, 35 and 49 because once you’re grown up, you’re grown up and then the 14 year difference can work. If you want to have a fling with a 17 year old, enjoy. Just don’t take it seriously.

The old way to check whether a potential partner was 'age appropriate' used to be :

*** Halve the older age and add 7 ***

So a 32 year old would be OK with a 23 year old

A 50 year old with a 32 year old

etc etc

You were truthful about your age to him, he was not truthful to you, or at least did not feel comfortable telling you his true age. What would you have done if you had known he was only seventeen before starting a relationship? Unless he wears a badge saying 'I am 17' only yourself will know his age, so if you can accept this then it's no one else's business.
