Sorry for there not being any GMEB yesterday - I had no internet! Woke up about 5 am & it was down, & despite my best efforts I didn't manage to get it back on until mid afternoon. Very frustrating as I had so much work that I had to do. Oh well! Hope everyone had a good day yesterday - had a bit of a worry with my MIL yesterday  with an unexpected high BP reading of 209/114. She did it at home herself on a machine, thought that can't possibly be that high & rang doctor, who said come in. She got to surgery & it had dropped but was still high. Doctor has put her on some medication for 7 days & says will review then, but if it reads any higher than the surgery reading again she is to go straight to A & E. So she's pretty worried, as she actually feels fine apart from being more tired than usual. Hopefully it will settle.

Am going to go & do a supermarket shop this afternoon - I said last week that I'm going to try & do a weekly shop now rather than lots of silly shops every few days. Worked out well last fri & got thru week with only needing fresh bread  & veg. 👍

I did wonder yesterday about your well being hoping that something hadden't befallen you, good to know you're about and just an internet problem.

I do wish the best to your MIL, I'm not making light but watching Man United last night I don't know where my heart were trying to escape to.

Weather well ... looks cold and smelly out there... just dark damp and rainy.

Good morning.  Good that you got on well with the weekly shop, I plan all my meals for the week, and works well. I do go twice though as the veg never seems very fresh these days. I get the bakery at Sainsburys to slice a loaf which them keeps well in the freezer.

I have got to get myself to the Chiropractor this morning, will be walking, but I have very little sense of direction, Mr U has been over the route with me 3 times so far!!!!  He can't come with me as we have a new mattress arriving this morning, it should have been next Monday but suddenly got a text saying the date had changed to today.  The bed isn't arriving until week after next though.

Good morning (just!) I also am glad you are okay and not suffering. Shopping once a week is great, usually go on a Tuesday when the shelves tend to be restocked after the weekend, or on a Thursday afternoon before the late night shoppers. Rely on local shops to pick up extra milk and bread.

Went out yesterday and screen wash was not working, it must be empty. I could not find the lever to open the bonnet, let alone get at the resevoir. After getting the manual out and watching a You Tube video I think I know what to do, so that's my project for this afternoon. Will have to go and buy some screenwash liquid. Let you know tomorrow how I got on!!

Morning all, also only just. Just had a grocery delivery and got some daffs, its lovely having the colour in the house. OH has just been to the surgery for yet another blood test and he had to do a detour as the lane is closed yet again, heavens knows why they never seem to do anything. Anyway thats my moan done for the day.

Good morning from grey and chilly Plymouth. I'm doing more online shops as I can't carry as much as I'd like when I do it in person. I had a Sainsbury's delivery on Tuesday and a few things weren't available so off I went to town yesterday for sourdough bread, red peppers and a few other bits. Amazingly it was my first trip into town in a month! I've gone to local shops and Lidl but couldn't be bothered with the post Christmas shoppers. It was pretty quiet yesterday.

A day indoors today as my knees are a bit stiff. Have a good day all.
