The reason Holocaust Day is commemorated on 27 January is because it's the day Auschwitz was liberated.  I recommend a visit to that bone-chilling, sickening place to anyone who seeks to undermine it in any way.  Failing that, a visit to Yad Vashem in Israel is educational.

i visited bergen belsen and sachsenhausen though not auschwitz... i am conflicted over whether or not they should stay there at all but that's another topic
