If someone you are not particularly friendly with suddenly started to send you texts substituting i's for y's for example wyll instead of will what would be the thinking behind it do you think.

my friend does this but only to shorten words like time=tym (so u can still pronounce it the same) and might=myt, cant think of any others atm
