how do you make friends whats the best way?

How about going on a night out with work and getting to know tham all properley? Or join a gym or a club and get chatting to the people there! Millions of people out there im sure you will meet and make some good friends! Also bet people view you as their friend and you just dont know it.

My work mates and I have a night out every couple of months and I now consider one of them a really good mate

I'm just going to stick with the others. Try and join a gym or a sports club. If you get on well with the people from work then ask them out for some drinks with you, make it a sort of works night out. Get them to bring their other non-work mates with them too and you're expanding your pool of aquaintances already :D

Just be yourself, if others don't like you for what you are then they are not worth knowing.

Never be afraid to voice your point of view, it's better to have a strong opinion than no opinion at all. 9 times out of 10 someone will agree and that is common ground.

Don't be a doormat, it's not an attractive feature.

Present yourself well to others. Walk tall, make eye contact and smile.
