Dating and being unemployed

Was thinking of trying on line dating. But am embarrassed to put down that I am unemployed (got made redundant last month)

If you were looking for "love on line" would it put you men off, if the woman was not working?

Not at all. I believe cos I am old that it is up to the man to provide. It is your place to look pretty and look after the man. What's wrong with that.

hi Doc, but they ask you all sorts of questions. i.e. your job! salary etc! If I put down I am not working, I think men think you are some scummy bag, which I am not. I am very lovely. Just not working at present

Mistys, thank you. But those online dating sites do seem pretty obsessed with your career and salary etc. You dont know someone really until you meet them, on paper I look crap. But in real life I am lovely. Some just dont read past the paper bit
