Hi

Yesterday my husband said I could use his mobile to call my friend... he has lots of unused minutes.

Whilst on the phone I noticed a couple of missed calls from his voice mail from a number I did not recognise.

Being the nosey parker i am I wrote the number down. Later last night I called this other mobile number and it went straight to my husbands voice mail.

I have not been able to sleep, I am really worried he either has another phone on divert or another sim card.

Which then leads me to think there maybe someone else.

Please do not shout at me about looking thru his phone.. I know it was naughty and I regret it.

we have been married 15 years and despite a couple of blips earlier in our relationship, I thought things were good.

Can any of you give me some clue as to what to do now??

Thanks very much
Tally

Talk to him about what has happened....
Ask him to tell you the truth and then listen.....
why would his other phone be calling his phone???
Good point!
He's banging someone else.
That's what I was thinking too 4got.

But back to the Q ... tally, if you have any doubts... Ask him, it could be something in nothing, don't sit worrying about it.

even then why would he call himself?? Its all a bit confusing
Hi

It sounds like he may have another phone which diverts calls to his number when it's switched off???

It does sound odd.

I don't know really, you need to talk to him and ask...

so anyone ringing other number would get diverted and that would come up on his phone as the other number ringing rather than the person that rang. Ahh I'm getting you now, yer could be a work number but I'd keep trying to ring it
Why don't you call it again whilst he's at work?
My mobile has hundreds of numbers that I dont recognise, let alone my wife! And trust me, there is nothing else going on in my life!

Speak to your husband, I know communication must be hard after 15 years but surely you can still talk to each other...?
I've gone through someones phone before. Not because I'm nosy but because there were trust issues in the relationship. Are you sure you were just being nosy and that there isn't something else going on here?

If you can hand on heart say you were just being a nosy begger then you just found the perils of snooping... you find out stuff you didn't want to know. You need to talk to him, 'fess up what you did and take the consequences. Hopefully all these will be is a very stroppy husband for a few days and you eating a lot of humble pie when he tells you off for not trusting him.

However if it is something worse... well then, that's another thread really isn't it. Don't jump to conclusions is all I will say.

Good luck.

Hi

I have called the number just now and it diverts straight to my husband's phone...

It is not his work's phone as he is officed based.

I am going to speak to him later about it, but know he will blow his top.

Thanks for the replies

just lie, say that someone called you from that number on your phone and you tried it and you were confused when you got his number, he might think he rang you accidently
forgotabout has devised a devious but cunning plan, apart from the fact that he would be able to check the phone's dialled numbers and see it didn't happen. Is he gambling? I only say this because it is possible he is using this phone to place bets and does not want you to find out.
but is he going to say to her no I checked my other phone and it wasnt me, hello that would give it away that he has another phone, he'll panic all men do and he'll say something
that's true, men cannot work out how phones work as a rule, but this guy has a frightening level of pre-meditation, I would be very wary of him., How old is he? blokes over 35 are notoriously bad with mobiles
