what can I do?
8 Answers
I had a relationship 3 years ago with a man which I ended because I found out he was already in a relationship....anyway to make matters worse I work with him, he keeps e-mailing me constantly saying hi "babe" how you doing" "I hear you single now" and all that rubbish, I started to ignore his mails because I have no feelings for him, he is still in his relationship and he is basically a slime ball. I got an e-mail from him last night saying " I know you still find this hard but you will always be special to me" as if to say that I still like him, which he truly believes I do!!!!!!! The mails are constant and he always calls me babe and sexy and apologies that we didnt work out. I honestly couldnt care less but he is starting to wind me up, what do I do? so far I have just ignored him but it doesnt seem to be working, he thinks I am ignoring him to block out my feelings, I want to tell him exactly how I feel but im not the type of person to say that to somebody. what would you suggest? If I ignore him he thinks im trying to hide my feelings, if I answer him he will think im still interested. x

Twinkle - he is harrassing you - please report him. By doing nothing is just giving him the green light to continue. If he is so thick skinned that he cant take a hint then let your HR/Manager know and let them deal with it. As for letting your collegues know about him - go ahead and block him - he doesnt deserve your loyalty.
In a pickle - nice to see you back.

Be honest with him and say that you really arent interested in him, are happily dating a couple of other hunks and that he should leave you alone. Be firm and try walking around with a twinkle in your eye and a smile and he will wonder what you have been up to!
Seriousl though if it gets worse you do need to report him to HR or your boss.
