A friend of mine's just married someone from abroad. They'd been chatting on the net for 2 year's - then met up, and it was instant love, so to speak. Out of all the hopeful people though, I don't think many make a go of it.

im 24 looking for male 25 - 29 have real height issues though in the fact i hate small men so he has tobe at least 5ft 10 , and i like dark hair and eyes but thats not the s eb all end all - its the height - the men in bedfordshire all seem to stop at 5 ft 9 and thats the tall men !!!!! grrrrrrr

To me, he's got everything physical (I assume), but even if we were on a desert island together, he might be boring, or conceited - whatever. You can't just go by looks.

ROTF - yes, shame on me! I kind of agree with you though, although my other half's not pig-ugly. He's kind & generous (but still not like Brad.....). There would've been no lack of female attention for mine though, 'cos he was in the position of being very "eligible". He had loads of women after him - mostly my friends!! On the down side, if I dare tell you, he's one of those "stiff upper lip" type. I often get more of a laugh chatting to people on here, than I do when he's around. He DOES have a sense of humour, but not in the quick-witted, silly way that some ABer's have - which is one reason I like coming on here.

I know a few odd jobs that big bert could do for me as well!!!! Yes, a sense of humour's vital, but your 16 month's weren't really wasted, red, 'cos now you know not to repeat it! On the other hand, a guy's sense of humour doesn't get the bills paid, does it? But hell - you're right! One who can't laugh at himself and the world must be a pain to stay with.
