Dating a guy who is moving?!
2 Answers
Hello,
Ok, basically I met a guy when out about 4 months ago and we stayed in touch by e-mail/text etc. We tried to meet up several times but have only just managed to meet up (last week) as I have been extremely busy with work, college etc. Anyway, to cut a long story short he text me after the date and suggested that he would like to go out again. However, I have found out today that he is moving away (about 1.5hrs so not the other side of the world but not great). So, I am so confused to say the least. He is the first bloke I have met in ages that I felt really comfortable with and walked away thinking that I definitely wanted to see him again.
I am not sure whether men date for the hell of it as I don't see the point in seeing him again if he suggests it this week. I am slightly gutted as we got along so well!
Any advice/comments would be much sppreciated.

An hour and a half away really isn't all that much. You could easily take it in turns to see each other at weekends, or arrange to meet mid-way between where you both are. Put that way, a 45 minute journey is quite attainable - even during the week. I often visit friends who live a 2 hour drive from me, and if I was going to meet someone that I fancied, I'm sure it'd seem a lot less! Best of luck!
