Today the fella I'm with he told me I was 'like a drug' and there was 'something about me' but he can't put his finger on it. Now this is a very passionate relationship, if you get my drift.

I have been racking my brains to try to find out what he really means. It seems so dramatic to refer to the situation, or me, as a drug! Anyone felt this before about another human being?

I've been told that and wasn't sure if it was a compliment or not! But I asked him to explain and he said that I was addictive - he didnt know exactly what it was that made him keep coming back. Because we argued and had a very up and down r'ship sometimes we didnt know why on earth we were together!

Nannon-same problem here. Up and down. Can be really fun when we get on well, but when we don't all hell breaks loose. I sometimes think he doesn't actually like me as a person, although he says I'm funny and intelligent. I could just be a bit of stuff to him.

He has no problem putting his finger on it literally. Nudge nudge wink wink.

You are addicted to your husband? It's more than that, though, surely. You're married. Addiction represents strong sexual attraction, perhaps.

misunderstood, tasty-good input.
I just wasn't sure how to take it when he said it. We seem to just have this amazing chemistry-sexually. But at other times we argue. He can be annoying! There is something compelling about him. It's intoxicating.

well tasty he says he 'hasn't fallen for me yet'. I'm worried he likes me mainly for sex.
LOL Raz!!

It's definately a compliment :)
Perhaps he means that when he has you he has a sense of euphoria and that when he doesnt he is on a come down. So the addiction is the sex and he needs that euphoric experience. Im guessing you roll in the hay every time you meet.

You might well consider it a compliment on your performance, assuming you like to be judged and scored on that basis. The fact that he hasnt fallen for you yet confirms that he is enjoying sex with you, but is holding out to see if he can have the wonderful sensation of love and sex combined either with you or someone else.

Good insight Octavius. But I think he is a loser because he only sees me on his terms!
That's what all women think.
